History

Ten years ago, in an effort to assist in the management of cultural resources, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, in cooperation with the Department of Anthropology, established a cultural resource management program. From its outset, Archaeological Services has strived to meet its stated goals in a timely and cost-effective manner. Work has been done for, and technical assistance provided to, public officials, private landowners, developers, and planners directly involved in projects that may affect archaeological or historic resources.
